Manufactured sand rock is a form of artificial sand that is made worldwide and used to produce various industrial products including asphalt and concrete. Due to an extreme worldwide shortage of natural sand, manufactured sand is in huge demand.
Manufactured sand is produced by crushing rock with a large crushing plant. Its superior shape puts it well within specifications imposed on sand for use in concrete production. Sand manufactured by vertical shaft impact crusher is of cubical shape. Such sand can be used for all types of construction work, concreting, plastering etc and is better substitute to river sand.
Stone for Manufactured Sand Crushing
Stone can be found worldwide and it is often a waste material that is too large for regular construction use. Stone can be manufactured and reduced to the necessary size in order to produce a more general form of sand. Many types of stone waste material are crushed and manufactured together to form a generic manufactured sand. Stone materials for making sand includes limestone, granite, dolomite, traprock, sandstone, quartz and marble etc.
Manufactured Sand Crushing Equipment
In manufactured sand crushing process, a primary jaw crusher is applied to reduce the mateirals into small size, and then the materials are conveyed to a secondary impact crusher by conveyor belt. A vibrating screen is used as a sieve to separate the crushed sand into different grades. The oversized materials are sent back into a Vertical Shaft Impactor (VSI) crusher for further processing.
